How do I get to Drake Bay?
Most visitors reach Drake Bay by boat from Sierpe (about 1.5 hours through the Térraba-Sierpe mangroves) or by a short domestic flight to Drake Bay airfield. We can help you match tour times to your arrival.
When is the best time to visit Corcovado?
Corcovado is open year-round. December to April is drier and easier on the trails. May to November is greener, quieter and still excellent for wildlife, with muddier paths after rain.
Should I choose Corcovado or Caño Island?
Corcovado is a rainforest day — tapirs, monkeys, macaws and primary forest. Caño Island is a marine day — snorkeling, turtles, reef fish and often dolphins on the crossing. Many guests do both on different days.
